Taking nearly a year to perfect, Xier underwent numerous revisions to achieve its refined, and final state. The chords draw inspiration from the playful yet slightly dissonant character of 90s house music. To push creative boundaries, Okmog wrote his own custom music software, enabling him to effortlessly explore chords and bring them to life on the keyboard.

The melody and lyrics of Xier are deeply personal, processing Okmog’s reflections on a challenging affair. While the lyrics explore serious themes, the track's upbeat energy and vibrant rhythms emphasize resilience and the brighter side of life.

A pivotal element of Xier is the soulful vocal performance by English vintage singer Chris Weeks. After an extensive search for the perfect voice, Weeks’ timeless style elevated the track to new heights, creating a seamless synergy with Okmog’s nostalgic yet forward-thinking production.
